Denbo had three separate stints with the Yankees organization, totaling 23 years, with his most recent stretch starting in 2009 as a player development consultant before working as a pro scout from 2010-14. As a minor league manager over parts of four seasons, Denbo posted a 213-194 (.523) mark, leading Single-A Greensboro to the South Atlantic League Championship in 1993.
