Indians activate Tommy Hunter from DL; designate Ross Detwiler for assignment

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2016 Major League roster:
Activated RHP Tommy Hunter from the 15-day Disabled List. Designated LHP Ross Detwiler for Assignment.
Hunter, 29, began the 2016 season on the 15-day Disabled List rehabbing from off-season core- muscle surgery. He began a rehabilitation assignment in Triple-A Columbus on April 10, going 1-1 with a save and a 1.00 ERA in 8 games/2 starts (9.0IP, 7H, 1R/ER, 0BB, 4K, .212 avg) while limiting right- handed hitters to a .176 (3-17) average against. Hunter was signed as a free agent by Cleveland to a one-year contract on February 12.
