CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the 2019 Major League roster:

Recalled RHP ADAM PLUTKO (#45) from AAA Columbus.

Designated RHP NEIL RAMIREZ for assignment.

Plutko, 27, will make his 2019 Indians debut this afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles, He began the season on the Triple-A Columbus Disabled List with a right forearm strain and recently made two starts for the Clippers, going 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA (6ER/5.1IP). In his most recent start for Columbus vs. Syracuse, he allowed just 1 run on 2 hits over 5.0 innings (67 pitches).
