LGBT Pride Night at Safeco Field August 19

The Seattle Mariners and Greater Seattle Business Association are teaming up to present LGBT Pride Night at Safeco Field on Friday, August 19.

The Seattle Mariners and Greater Seattle Business Association are teaming up to present LGBT Pride Night at Safeco Field on Friday, August 19.
A special ticket offer is available that includes a Mariners rainbow logo T-shirt and admission to a pregame mixer with appetizers and one free drink.
Major League Baseball's first Ambassador for Inclusion, Billy Bean, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Mariners vs. Milwaukee Brewers game (7:10 p.m. start).
Tickets are $38 for View Level and $55 for Main Level, with $5 from each ticket sold through this special offer benefitting the GSBA Scholarship Fund.
The deadline to purchase tickets through this online only offer is Thursday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. at Mariners.com/LGBT.
Bean was appointed in 2014 by then-MLB Commissioner Bud Selig to provide guidance and training related to efforts to support those in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community throughout Major League Baseball. Bean's official title is Vice President, Social Responsibility & Inclusion. Bean, who played in the Major Leagues for parts of six seasons from 1987-89 and 1993-95, came out in 1999.
