The Seattle Mariners today announced their 2022 Cactus League schedule featuring 15 home games at the Peoria Sports Complex and 16 road games (including two against the San Diego Padres at Peoria) for a total of 31 Spring Training games.

The Mariners open the spring schedule as the visiting team at the Peoria Sports Complex against the Padres on Saturday, February 26, and conclude with another road game against the Padres on Monday, March 28. The Mariners open the 2022 regular season on Thursday, March 31, at T-Mobile Park against the Detroit Tigers. 

Cactus League Schedule Highlights

The first home game for the Mariners is Sunday, February 27, against the Chicago Cubs. The Mariners also play home games against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, March 2, and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, March 14, which is part of a split squad game that includes a road matchup against the Texas Rangers.

A second split squad game is Tuesday, March 22, when the Mariners meet the Oakland Athletics in Peoria and play the Kansas City Royals in Surprise.

The Mariners play American League West division rivals a total of six times with home and road games against the Rangers, A's and Los Angeles Angels.
