SEATTLE – Seattle Mariners Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications Gregg Greene and Vice President of Creative and Content Services Ben Mertens announced today the lineup of announcers for Seattle Mariners Radio and Television this season.

“We have a tremendous breadth of talent and experience on our broadcast team,” Greene said. “Together they create the soundtrack to summer for fans throughout the Northwest. They share not only the action on the field, but the stories that make Mariners Baseball so special.”

Aaron Goldsmith, now in his 14th season in Seattle, is the Mariners primary voice on all television games this season. Goldsmith is also actively involved in non-game related broadcasting, including the Mariners Hot Stove Show, Cactus League Report and The Wheelhouse Podcast with Jerry Dipoto. In addition to his Mariners duties, Goldsmith is in demand nationally, calling Major League Baseball and college basketball on FOX and FS1.

Angie Mentink enters her second full season as an analyst on TV and radio and will also assist with pre- and post-game programming. Angie is in her 30th season covering the Mariners. A fixture covering the team, she originally began her career on TV in 1997. Mentink was a star softball player at the University of Washington, and in 2001 was the first softball player inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame.

Ryan Rowland-Smith will be part of the call on both radio and TV for select games, as well as continuing to be part of the pre- and post-game shows. Rowland-Smith pitched in five Major League seasons, including four (2007-2010) with Seattle. A Newcastle, Australia, native Ryan can also be seen on the MLB Network and hosts a weekly podcast “The Top Step.”

Jay Buhner returns as an analyst on select Mariners telecasts alongside Goldsmith. The Mariners Hall of Famer returned to the airways in 2025 after previously being a part of Mariners TV from 2002-05 and 2011-2012. He played 15 seasons in the Majors, including 14 years with Seattle (1988-2001), as an All-Star, Gold Glove winning right fielder.

Dave Valle will also work as an analyst on select games on TV this season alongside Goldsmith. He has also been a part of MLB Network coverage since 2009. Valle played 13 seasons in the Majors, including 10 with Seattle (1984-1993). He was the Mariners second-round selection in the 1978 Draft.

Brad Adam will serve as a pre- and post-game host on Mariners telecasts in 2026. Brad previously spent 26 seasons covering the Mariners for ROOT Sports.

Rick Rizzs, the Voice of the Mariners, continues as the lead play-by-play voice on all radio broadcasts this season. He has announced this year, his 41st season on the air with Seattle, will be his last. Rizzs is the longest-tenured broadcaster in Mariners history. Rick originally joined the Mariners broadcast team in 1983-1991 before spending 1992-1994 in Detroit. He returned in 1995 bringing his singular energy and style to Mariners radio.

Gary Hill Jr. enters his ninth season as Executive Producer/Engineer for Mariners radio in 2026. Gary will continue and expand his play-by-play duties in 2026 as Rizzs takes a step back. In addition to his game broadcast work, Hill also leads the Mariners Podcast, Mariners Hot Stove Show, Trident Talk, The Wheelhouse Podcast and Cactus League Report. Gary joined the Mariners radio broadcast in 2017, the same year he was named radio voice for the University of Washington women’s basketball team.

All 162 regular-season Mariners games, and 30 Spring Training games, can be heard on Seattle Sports (AM 710) and the Mariners Radio Network (covering five states and British Columbia).

A full regular season broadcast and television schedule will be released at a later date.
