Special Note: There will be a fly-over by EA-18G Growlers immediately after the playing of the National Anthem during the Opening Day pregame ceremony.

As the Mariners get set to open the regular season at T-Mobile Park on Thursday, the San Diego Padres will be in town for a pair of exhibition games. Game time on Monday, March 26, is 7:10 p.m. and 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27. General admission seating is $10 for adults, kids 14 and under are free. Thursday, March 28 vs. Boston Red Sox (4:10 p.m. first pitch)

1:00 p.m. -- Opening Day festivities start with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at the Left Field Gate with Mariners Chairman John Stanton, T-Mobile Executives, Rick Rizzs and the Mariner Moose. All fans will receive a commemorative pin, courtesy of T-Mobile on entry, and a 2019 magnet schedule, courtesy of CHI Franciscan, upon exiting the ballpark.

The pregame program begins at 3:30 p.m. with a short live performance by Macklemore in The ‘Pen.

Ten-year old Dakota Butteris of Bothell will continue the tradition of the ceremonial first run around the bases by a Make-A-Wish child. Dakota is being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready will perform the National Anthem, punctuated by a flyover of EA-18G Growlers from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

The Opening Day game will be carried exclusively on ESPN as the finale of the network’s MLB Opening Day triple-header. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. (subject to conclusion of the prior game; Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, which starts at 1:00 p.m. PDT). It will be available on 710 ESPN Seattle and the Mariners Radio Network.

College Night – The first College Night of the season with specially priced tickets and Happy Hour prices on select items. Tickets are $14 for View Level ($17 on the day of the game). Ballard Pizza is just $4 a slice (The ‘Pen), sodas are $2.50 and select beers are $7. Tickets are available at Mariners.com/College.

National Anthem – St. Patrick School from Tacoma.

Color Guard – The Seattle Fire Department Honor Guard.

Saturday, March 20 vs. Red Sox (6:10 p.m.)

Season Ticketholder Early Gate Opening – Mariners best customers have early access to the ballpark by presenting their season ticketholder I.D. at the Right Field Gate and enjoy special concession pricing. Gate opens at 3:10 p.m.

National Anthem – Discovery Elementary School, Gig Harbor.

Sunday, March 31 vs. Red Sox (1:10 p.m.)

Kids Opening Day: All kids 14 and under will get a Mitch Haniger T-shirt courtesy of Boeing. A group of lucky kids will be chosen at random to participate in some unique game day experiences like honorary manager, bat boy and ball girl and nine kids will take the positions on the field pregame and meet the Mariners who play that position. There is also a pregame parade around the warning track for all young fans from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

King’s Court – Felix Hernandez’s first home start of the season means the first T-Mobile King’s Court. Tickets are $15 and come with a T-Shirt and placard, both with an interactive QT code that links to a Felix highlight video and other fun features.

Brewster High School Baseball will be presented with a $5,000 grant from Mariners Care to defray the cost of equipment, uniforms or other programs costs such as field maintenance. Brewster is one of 10 Washington schools to receive grants this season through the Mariners Care Equipment Donation Grant program.
