FLUSHING, N.Y., January 22, 2026 – The New York Mets today announced their 2026 minor league coaching staffs, as well as their player development and medical personnel for the upcoming season.
Dick Scott returns for his 13th season in the Mets organization and his fourth as manager of the Triple-A Syracuse Mets. Michael Collins will enter his first season with the Mets organization as manager of the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies. A native of Canberra, Australia, Collins spent the previous eight seasons on the Houston Astros Major League coaching staff as a catching coach and bullpen catcher. From 2011-2017, Collins served as a minor league manager in the San Diego Padres organization. Eduardo Nuñez returns for his seventh season with the Mets and will manage the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones after serving as the club’s bench coach in 2025. Luis Rivera enters his 17th season as a coach in the organization and his second as manager of the Single-A St. Lucie Mets. Lino Diaz returns for his second season with the Mets as manager of the Florida Complex League Mets. Felix Fermin Jr. returns for his third season in the organization and will manage DSL Mets Blue. JC Rodriguez is back for his second season as manager of DSL Mets Orange.
