The New York Mets today announced that the club placed RHP Anthony Swarzak on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to April 1, with a strained left oblique and recalled RHP Hansel Robles from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Robles will wear #47 and will be available tonight.

Robles, 27, was tied for sixth in the majors among all relievers with seven wins in relief last year. He was 7-5 with a 4.92 ERA (31 earned runs/56.2 innings) and 60 strikeouts in 46 games in relief with the Mets in 2017.

He held lefthanders to a .189 (14-74) mark, the 14th-lowest mark in the NL (min. 60 batters faced) last season.

Robles was 6-4 with a 3.48 ERA (30 earned runs/77.2 innings) in 68 games with New York in 2016. The last Mets reliever to post back-to-back seasons of six or more wins was Dennis Cook (1998-2000).

Swarzak, 32, has tossed 2.1 innings this year, allowing one run and striking out three.
