Miami Marlins, in partnership with Miami-Dade Parks, to host special ceremony at Tamiami Park on Friday at 10 a.m.

The two organizations partnered to host three PlayBall4All youth baseball and softball clinics this week featuring Marlins Alumni and Billy The Marlin

MIAMI – The Miami Marlins and Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will host a special ceremony at Tamiami Park at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, with executive members from both organizations. Following the ceremony, participants from Miami-Dade Parks Disability Services Program (PDS) will play a baseball game on the Miami Marlins-funded Miracle League of Miami-Dade Field at Tamiami Park.

Clinic: 1 – 3 p.m.

Friday marks the third PlayBall4All youth baseball and softball clinic of this week, which began on Monday, June 17, at Gwen Cherry Park and continued on Wednesday, June 19, at Goulds Park. Each clinic will feature approximately 500 participants, children ages 6-14 who are enrolled in the parks department’s 2019 Summer Camp Program, with activities aimed at developing baseball and softball drills through a variety of drills.
