Current, former Red Sox greats highlight Baseball Winter Weekend

Mookie Betts, Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens, Dustin Pedroia, Pedro Martinez, and Jason Varitek are among the Red Sox players and legends set to participate in the day-long panel discussions at "Baseball Winter Weekend" at Foxwoods Resort and Casino.

Mookie Betts, Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens, Dustin Pedroia, Pedro Martinez, and Jason Varitek are among the Red Sox players and legends set to participate in the day-long panel discussions at "Baseball Winter Weekend" at Foxwoods Resort and Casino.
The event takes place January 22-24 with panels discussion scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, January 23, giving fans an opportunity to hear directly from players and coaches.
The sessions begin with the "State of the Red Sox," a conversation with President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski and Senior Vice President/General Manager Mike Hazen.
Memories from the 1986 American League Championship team will be shared by Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens, Dwight Evans, Bruce Hurst, and Jim Rice.
In a session entitled "Battery Mates," the iconic Red Sox pitcher/catcher duo of Pedro Martinez and Jason Varitek will take the stage.
Going "Around the Horn," Xander Bogaerts, Deven Marrero, Dustin Pedroia, and Travis Shaw will discuss the intricacies of playing the infield.
And with perspective from Red Sox outfielders both past and present, Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley, Jr., Rusney Castillo, Dwight Evans, Fred Lynn, and Jim Rice will talk about "Covering Ground" in the outfield. 
Later in the day, a kids press conference will give children a chance to fire their toughest questions to their favorite players.
The panel discussions conclude with a Red Sox Game Show where current players will face off against coaches and alumni.
A current list of Baseball Winter Weekend attendees and information on weekend passes, which include the option for hotel accommodations, are available at redsox.com/winterweekend. Passes provide access for all three days and are $60 per adult and $20 for children 14 and under. Children under three are free. Season Ticket Holders' prices (for adults) are reduced by $10.
