The Washington Nationals reinstated outfielder Juan Soto from the 10-day Injured List and optioned infielder Jake Noll to Triple-A Fresno on Saturday. Nationals President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.

Soto, 20, returns to the active roster after missing 10 games with back spasms. Prior to being placed on the Injured List, he was hitting .248 with a .368 on-base percentage and a .467 slugging percentage. He recorded five doubles, six home runs, 22 RBI, 19 walks and 16 runs scored. Despite missing 10 games, he still paces the Nationals with 22 RBI and his six home runs are tied for the team lead.

Soto returns to the lineup having reached base in 15 straight games from April 14th to April 30th, his last game prior to suffering the injury. His current 15-game streak is the second-longest streak of his career behind a 21-game streak from Aug. 24-Sept. 16, 2018.

After starting the season in a 3-for-14 skid, Soto has posted a .389 on-base percentage, a .506 slugging percentage and a .895 OPS in 24 games since April 3rd. He has reached base safely in 23 of the 24 games and has hit safely in 18 of the 24.

Noll, 25, has appeared in eight games for the Nationals during his rookie season. He is 2-for-12 (.167) with a double, two RBI, one walk and one run scored.
