Orioles acquire LHP Jayson Aquino from St. Louis
Aquino, 23, went 5-11 with a 3.28 ERA (50 ER/137.1 IP) over a career-high 24 starts between Class A-Advanced Lynchburg (Cleveland), Class A-Advanced Dunedin (Toronto), and Class A-Advanced Bradenton (Pittsburgh) in 2015.

The Orioles today announced that they have acquired LHP JAYSON AQUINO from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for cash considerations. Aquino has been optioned to Double-A Bowie.
Aquino, 23, went 5-11 with a 3.28 ERA (50 ER/137.1 IP) over a career-high 24 starts between Class A-Advanced Lynchburg (Cleveland), Class A-Advanced Dunedin (Toronto), and Class A-Advanced Bradenton (Pittsburgh) in 2015. His 3.28 ERA ranked 16th among all Class A-Advanced pitchers and his 137.1 innings ranked tied for 20th. In 99 career minor league games (98 starts), Aquino has gone 32-37 with a 2.94 ERA (193 ER/591.0 IP).
With this move, there are now 38 players on the Orioles 40-man roster.
