The 2019 Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play Game Show Spectacular will take place this coming Sunday, May 5 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. The event is a complete sellout.

Proceeds of the event benefit the programs and projects of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.

The theme for the 2019 event is “Escape to Margaritaville.” As always, Triple Play features live and silent auctions and attendance by the entire Texas Rangers team. The highlight of the evening is the Rangers players competing against each other in a pair of game shows. This year’s competitions will be the annual fan favorite Fielders Feud and a new entry Heads Up. The tentative list of participants for each game (subject to change):

Fielders Feud—hosted by Eric Nadel:

Infielders: Elvis Andrus, Logan Forsythe, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Rougned Odor

Outfielders: Delino DeShields, Joey Gallo, Nomar Mazara, Hunter Pence

Heads Up—hosted by Dave Raymond:

Team #1: Jesse Chavez, Chris Martin, Jeff Mathis 

Team #2: Shawn Kelley, Shelby Miller, Drew Smyly

Among the items available for bidding in the live and silent auctions are a roadtrip to Boston to see the Rangers play the Red Sox that includes transportation on the Texas team plane and dining with Hall of Fame pitching great Dennis Eckersley; a roadtrip to Anaheim on the Texas team plane with Hall of Fame catching great Ivan Rodriguez; a trip to the Dominican Republic that includes a tour of the Rangers’ new Baseball Academy; and special suite experiences for the Paul McCartney and Billy Joel concerts later this year at Globe Life Park in Arlington. There will also be private hitting and pitching lessons with current Rangers players, and many other exclusive Rangers experiences, including the opportunity to watch a home game with Hall of Fame catcher Ivan Rodriguez from seats next to the first base dugout.

The event begins with a cocktail reception presented by Tequila Sheela at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner, the program, and the game shows. Emily Jones and John Rhadigan of FOX Sports Southwest will serve as MC’s for the evening.
