On Saturday, April 20, the Pirates will honor area law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical technicians, among other groups, with First Responders Night at PNC Park. Today, the team announced Pirates players will wear a special City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety patch to pay tribute to area first responders during the Saturday 4:05 p.m. game vs the San Francisco Giants.

Plans for the day include several other opportunities to honor the men and women who serve as first responders, including prior to the game on Federal Street and a special on-field ceremony.

Special tickets for the date are now available through pirates.com/FirstResponders, with each ticket including a choice of one of three exclusive Pirates-branded caps as well as a donation to first responders.

• Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Pirates cap: Tickets include a $5 donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

• Thin White Line EMS Pirates cap: Tickets include a $5 donation to the National EMS Memorial Fund.
