The Pirates return to PNC Park for the ninth homestand of the season, a nine-game stop vs the New York Mets, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.
The homestand is highlighted by Faith Night on Friday, July 27; Pirates Charities Night on AT&T SportsNet on Saturday, July 28; and Andy Van Slyke Bobblehead Night on Saturday, August 4.
Thursday, July 26, 2018 -- Pirates vs. New York Mets (7:05 p.m.)
•    Military Day: Come out to support and honor our brave American military service men and women. The Pirates will wear their new Military Days jerseys and special caps. 
•    On-Field Military Ceremony: As part of today's Military Day efforts, the Pirates will host a group from It's About the Warrior. The mission of It's About the Warrior is to assist and empower all Tri-State area post 9/11 veterans and their families with financial grants, home improvement, therapeutic, and outreach programs, leading them to a successful and enriched life.
•    50/50 Raffle: Today's Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle, supported by Rivers Casino, will benefit It's About the Warrior.
Friday, July 27, 2018 -- Pirates vs. New York Mets (7:05 p.m.)
•    Miller Lite Happy Hour: Tonight, and now every Friday Night home game, the Pirates will host a special Happy Hour, presented by Miller Lite, at the Crow's Nest Bar from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Visit the Crow's Nest Bar for live music and half-priced cans of Miller Lite, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy and Blue Moon. 
•    Season Ticket Holder Kids Press Conference: Today, kids will have the chance to take part in a special pregame Kids Press Conference in the Pirates Press Conference Room from 2-4 p.m. The Kids Press Conference will be with members of the Pirates (TBA) from 2-3 p.m. and the event is exclusively for preregistered Season Ticket Holders.

•    Faith Night: Tonight, the Pirates will host the fifth annual Faith Night, presented by Chick-fil-A, at PNC Park. Following the game, fans will relocate to sections along the first base line to hear from their favorite Pirate players and coaches as they share their personal experiences with how their faith has influenced both their lives and their careers in baseball specifically. Saturday, July 28, 2018 -- Pirates vs. New York Mets (7:05 p.m.) 
•    Miracle League Fantasy Camp: Today, the Pirates will host a Miracle League Fantasy Camp in conjunction with the first-ever regional Miracle League All Star Game weekend at the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Athletes from all Pirates Charities-supported Miracle League programs are participating in a weekend of events culminating in the Miracle League All Star game on Saturday evening. As a part of the day's festivities, 39 Miracle League athletes will participate in a special baseball skills camp led by Pirates players and coaches beginning at 11:15 a.m. Each participant will receive a personalized jersey, goody bag and lunch following the event. This event is supported by Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids.
•    Pirates Charities Night on AT&T SportsNet: Tonight the Pirates are proud to partner with AT&T SportsNet to host the Pirates Charities Night on AT&T SportsNet at PNC Park in the Jim Beam Left Field Lounge and on the PNC Park Riverwalk. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the telecast begins at 6 p.m. Throughout the night, fans will be able to purchase Home Run and Grand Slam Backpacks for $250 and $700, respectively. Each backpack will include a baseball autographed by a Pittsburgh Pirates player, a baseball autographed by a Pirates alumnus, and exclusive Pirates branded items not available anywhere else. Home Run and Grand Slam backpacks can be purchased beginning at 5 p.m., in-person in the Jim Beam Left Field Lounge or on the Riverwalk, and beginning at 5:30 p.m. over the phone by calling (412) 325-4888. Backpacks are available online at pirates.com/charitynight. Proceeds from the Auction will benefit local area Miracle League organizations.
•    Zambelli Fireworks Night: Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats immediately following the game and enjoy an amazing Zambelli Fireworks International fireworks display, presented by IBEW Local #5.
•    Block Party: Come down early to join us before today's game for the Italian Fest Saturday Jim Beam Block Party starting at 5:30 p.m. on Federal Street. Fans are invited to come party on the street as food and beer sales will be available and there will be live music featuring The Cavaliers. Pirates alumni Salomón Torres will sign autographs at the Leinenkugel Bar that will be located on Federal Street.
•    Hunt Auction Show: The Celebration of the Pittsburgh Pirates Autograph and Memorabilia Show, presented by Hunt Auctions, will take place today from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at PNC Park. •    Season Ticket Holders Photo Fest: Today, Pirates Season Ticket Holders will have the chance to take part in a special pregame photo fest on the field at PNC Park from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Today's photo fest opportunity is exclusively for Season Ticket Holders who preregistered for the event.
•    Miracle League Day at PNC: As a celebration of the Regional Miracle League All Star weekend, Pirates Charities is hosting 36 Miracle League All Stars and their families for a picnic lunch in PNC Park's Picnic Park. Prior to the game, representatives from each of the 10 Pirates Charities-supported Miracle League programs will be introduced as the Kid's Starting Lineup, presented by #1 Cochran, as they take the field and are joined by the Pirates starting lineup at their respective positions.
•    Anthem: A group of 80 young string instrument performers from the Pittsburgh Group, Cello Fury, will perform the Star-Spangled Banner today.
•    Kids Day: Come down early and join the fun as the #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone will be open on Federal Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lined up outside PNC Park will be inflatable rides, face painting, information about the Bucaroos Kids Club, presented by Chick-fil-A and more.
•    Kids Pirates Hulk Bobblehead: Today, all kids ages 14 and younger, with paid admission, will receive a special Pirates Hulk bobblehead, presented by Allegheny Health Network.
•    Kids Run the Bases: Kids attending today's game are invited to stick around after to run the bases on the field at PNC Park with the Kids Run the Bases, presented by Rivendale.

Tonight, the Pirates will honor the Punxsutawny Girls Softball team. The Punxsutawney varsity softball team finished the season 19-3 and won the 2018 PIAA State Championship to claim the 4A title.

Fans are invited to come party on the street as food and beer sales will be available and there will be live music featuring The Clintones Ultimate 90s. Pirates alumni Andy Van Slyke will sign autographs at the Leinenkugel Bar that will be located on Federal Street.
•    Welcome to the Champs: The Pirates will welcome and congratulate the six (6) WPIAL Softball Championship teams in a pregame on-field ceremony. The 2018 champs are:

•    Kids Cards: Today, all kids ages 14 and younger, with paid admission, will receive a pair of Pirates Topps baseball cards.
•    Yoga Day: Today the Pirates will host the third annual OMs in the Outfield Yoga Day at PNC Park. This unique yoga practice will be held in the morning starting at 8:30 a.m. in the outfield. Participants get a grandstand ticket for the game, a yoga block, a Pirates Cap, plus will be honored on the field during a special pregame ceremony. •    Kids Run the Bases: Kids attending today's game are invited to stick around after to run the bases on the field at PNC Park with the Kids Run the Bases, presented by Rivendale.
•    Watson Institute VIP Party: Today, Pirates Charities will host a group of students from the Watson Institute for a special VIP Carnival prior to today's game. Students and their families will enjoy face painting, balloon animals, caricatures and a meet and greet with Pirates celebrities in PNC Park's Press Conference Room from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The group will watch the game from PNC Park's World Series Suites and enjoy food and beverage from Levy Restaurants. The Watson Institute is an educational organization in Western Pennsylvania made up of special education schools, programs and resources for children with special needs and their families.
Pittsburgh RBI
During this homestand, the Pittsburgh RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) will send three teams to compete in the RBI East Regional Tournament which runs from July 27 through July 29 in Detroit, MI. A Senior Boys team (ages 16-18), a Junior Boys team (13-15), and a Girls Softball team (18U) will be competing with RBI teams from other cities across the east region for the chance to play in the RBI World Series in Minneapolis in early August. Pittsburgh RBI is part of the international MLB RBI program. Pittsburgh RBI is supported by Pirates Charities and the Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania which provides Pittsburgh RBI with the infrastructure and administrative services that are necessary for its success.
