OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s recalled right-handed pitcher Adrián Martínez from Triple-A Las Vegas and selected catcher Carlos Perez from Las Vegas, the club announced today.  The A’s also optioned right-handed pitcher Chad Smith and infielder Kevin Smith to Las Vegas.  Right-handed pitchers Paul Blackburn (right middle fingernail avulsion), Drew Rucinski (strained left hamstring) and Freddy Tarnok (strained right shoulder) were placed on the 15-day injured list and catcher Manny Piña (sprained left wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list.
