A’s Place OF Skye Bolt on 10-Day Injured List; Recall LHP Adam Kolarek

OAKLAND, Calif. **--**The Oakland A’s placed outfielder Skye Bolt on the 10-day injured list retroactive to April 7 with a right oblique strain and recalled left-handed pitcher Adam Kolarek from Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today.

Kolarek has appeared in two games for Las Vegas, pitching 1.0 inning and allowing one hit. He tossed 1.0 scoreless inning this spring before being optioned on March 20. The 33-year-old left-hander appeared in 12 games over three stints with Oakland last year, compiling an 8.00 ERA (8 er in 9.0 ip) with five walks and four strikeouts. Kolarek is 11-3 with a 3.65 ERA in 155 relief appearances over five seasons with Tampa Bay (2017-19), Los Angeles-NL (2019-20) and Oakland (2021-present).

Bolt was named to his first Opening Day roster this season but did not appear in a game. The switch hitter went 4-for-29 (.138) with a home run and three RBI and a .306 on-base percentage in 17 games this spring. He tied for the Cactus League lead in games played and tied for seventh in walks (7).
