Arlington, Texas—The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum today announced the images that will appear on the caps of the members of the Class of 2024.

Beltré played for four teams during his 21-year MLB career, the final eight of which came with the Rangers, whose logo will adorn Beltré’s plaque. Three of his four All-Star Game selections and three of his five Gold Glove Awards were earned with the Rangers as was his only World Series appearance in 2011.

“I am grateful for the time I spent with all of my teams during my career,” said Beltré, who was elected to the Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America on Jan. 23 along with Todd Helton and Joe Mauer. “Looking back, I played more years in Texas than anywhere else and I believe my time with the Rangers represents the peak of my career, individually and from a team standpoint. But I could not have made this journey to Cooperstown without the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, and their fans, and I am proud that each of the teams I played with will be listed on my Hall of Fame plaque.”

Beltré, who was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year on the ballot on January 23, will join pitcher Nolan Ryan (class of 1999) and catcher Iván Rodríguez (class of 2017) to have the Texas Rangers “T” on their Hall of Fame plaques in Cooperstown, New York.

His passion and dedication were evident each and every day on the field, and his leadership in the clubhouse left an indelible mark on his teammates and coaches. We witnessed many of his incredible career accomplishments during that time, and we are proud Adrián is joining Nolan Ryan and Iván Rodríguez in representing this franchise in baseball’s most hallowed hall.”

Beltré joins fellow 2024 electee, catcher Joe Mauer as the 59^th and 60th players to be elected by the members of the Baseball Writers Association of America in their first years on the ballot. Beltré is the seventh third baseman to be so honored, joining Brooks Robinson (1983), Mike Schmidt (1995), George Brett (1999), Paul Molitor (2004), Wade Boggs (2005), and Chipper Jones (2018).

Beltré and Mauer join first baseman Todd Helton as 2024 BBWAA Hall of Fame selections. They will join former manager Jim Leyland in the induction ceremonies for the Class of 2024 on Sunday, July 21 in Cooperstown, New York.
