American Family Field Homestand Highlights Aug. 5-10

1982 40th Anniversary Celebration; Walk of Fame and Wall of Honor Induction with Military Flyover; Corbin Burnes Limited-Edition Cy Young Award Bobblehead

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers are back at American Family Field for a five game homestand against the Cincinnati Reds (Aug. 5-7) and the Tampa Bay Rays (Aug. 9-10). Tickets remain available for all five games of the homestand, including the highly anticipated “Celebration Weekend” games.

The Milwaukee Brewers will welcome back many of the most prominent players and Club officials in franchise history this week for “Celebration Weekend.” Fans should not miss the opportunity to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the 1982 American League Championship Team on Friday, Aug. 5. Here are three ways fans can join in the fun:

  • Hall of Fame Autograph Theme Night – With this special package, fans receive a ticket for the game against the Reds, plus the opportunity to choose an autograph session for one of the following Hall of Famers - Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor, Ted Simmons or Robin Yount. (Note: The Yount and Molitor packages are sold out.) Fans are welcome to bring one item into the ballpark to be signed or opt for a Brewers provided photo to be signed.
  • Tap Takeover with Special Guests from the 1982 Championship Team – Join 1982 Alums Cecil Cooper and Mike Caldwell at the First Base Barrel Bar on the Field Level, and Charlie Moore and Jim Slaton at the Third Base Barrel Bar on the Field Level as they serve up drinks to fans. Barrel Man will also be onsite to supervise their bartending skills. This is free and open to ticketed fans.
  • Pre-Game Celebration of the 1982 Championship Team – The Brewers will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the 1982 American League Championship Team with a pre-game parade of players on the warning track and ceremony to follow. The field ceremony will also feature remarks by Baseball Commissioner Emeritus and former Brewers Owner Allan H. (Bud) Selig, Brewers legendary broadcaster Bob Uecker and Brewers Chairman and Principal Owner Mark Attanasio. The ceremony will be moderated by Brewers broadcaster Brian Anderson. Ceremonial first pitches will be thrown by Hall of Famers Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Ted Simmons and Rollie Fingers.

On Saturday, Aug. 6, Prince Fielder will be enshrined into the Brewers Walk of Fame, the 21st player to be inducted into the prestigious group. Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy will join the Brewers Wall of Honor with Francisco Rodríguez, a 2021 inductee, also being recognized. Lucroy will officially retire from his playing days as a member of the Brewers, and he, Braun, Rodriguez and Fielder will be onsite to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Single-game tickets for games at American Family Field throughout the remainder of the regular season are available for purchase. Friday, Aug. 5 vs. Cincinnati Reds – 7:10 p.m.
1982 40th Anniversary Celebration – Fans can join in to honor and celebrate the legendary 1982 American League Championship Team with special autograph sessions, Tap Takeover and a pre-game celebration on-field (more details above.)

Theme Night Ticket Package: 1982 40th Anniversary Celebration – Fans can purchase a special Theme Night ticket package and receive a Hall-of-Fame autograph session with one of Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor, Ted Simmons or Robin Yount.

National Anthem – In honor of the 1982 40th Anniversary, Tori Cooper, the daughter of Brewers legend Cecil Cooper, will perform the national anthem.

Miller Lite Beerpen – Fans 21-or-older in the Miller Lite Beerpen will receive a free Brewers hat, courtesy of Miller Lite.

Student Night – All college and high school students can purchase Terrace Reserved tickets for $9 or right field Loge Bleachers tickets for $15, courtesy of UW Credit Union.

5-County Friday – Residents of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha Counties save 50 percent on tickets. Excludes the Miller Lite Beerpen, All-Inclusive Areas, Platinum Seats and Uecker Seats.

Brewers Coupon Book – The first 25,000 ticketed fans 18+ will receive a coupon book with special offers and savings.

Drive for Charity – Brewers Community Foundation and the BCF Leadership Council invite fans to bring school supplies or a donation of $10 to American Family Field during the weekend of Aug. 5-7. Fans can also go online to brewers.com/BCF to make a donation to benefit local children and families. Donors will receive a collectible Craig Counsell pin.

Saturday, Aug. 6 vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:15 p.m.
Walk of Fame and Wall of Honor Celebration – Fans welcome back franchise favorites Prince Fielder, as he is inducted into the Walk of Fame; and Ryan Braun, Jonathan Lucroy and Francisco Rodríguez as they are inducted into the Wall of Honor. Lucroy will officially retire from his playing days as a member of the Brewers, and he, Braun, Rodriguez and Fielder will be onsite to throw the ceremonial first pitch. A pregame flyover is planned featuring four F-35 Jets from the 58th Fighter Squadron out of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Tailgate Toolbelt – First 10,000 ticketed fans 21-or-older will receive a tailgate toolbelt, presented by Miller Lite.

Theme Night Ticket Package: Corbin Burnes Limited-Edition 2021 Cy Young Award Bobblehead Night – Commemorate Corbin Burnes receiving the 2021 Cy Young award. Fans can purchase a special Theme Night ticket package will receive a limited-edition Corbin Burnes 2021 Cy Young Award bobblehead. Presented by UScellular.

Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day – Brewers Season Seat Holders receive 25 percent off concessions and $25 off retail purchases of $100 or more.

Northwestern Mutual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Autograph Signing – Prior to the game, the first 150 fans who make a $20 donation to Alex’s Lemonade Stand for childhood cancer research, will receive an exclusive photo card to be signed by Jonathan Lucroy. The signing will take place within the Potawatomi Gate in right field and is powered by Northwestern Mutual.

Sunday, Aug. 7 vs. Cincinnati Reds – 1:10 p.m.
1980’s Robin Yount Replica Jersey – The first 35,000 ticketed fans receive a 1980’s Robin Yount replica jersey. Fans have the choice of Adult M and Adult XL. Presented by Hupy and Abraham, S.C.

Military Discount – On Sunday home games during the regular season, active-duty military and veterans can show their ID the day of the game and receive two complimentary Terrace Level tickets or purchase half-price tickets in other select locations.

Kids Run the Bases – Following all Sunday home games, kids 14 and under are invited onto the field to run the bases, presented by Aurora Health Care.

50th Annual American Legion All-Star Game – Fans are invited to stay after the conclusion of the Brewers game to watch the American Legion, Department of Wisconsin 50th All-Star game which will showcase the finest Legion players from around the state of Wisconsin. The All-Star game is free to the public and will start approximately one hour after the conclusion of the game.

Tuesday, Aug. 9 vs. Tampa Bay Rays – 7:10 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 10 vs. Tampa Bay Rays – 1:10 p.m.

Senior Stroll – Following the game, seniors 60-and-over can stroll along the outfield warning track, presented by WPS Health Insurance.

Ceremonial First Pitch – UW-Madison chancellor Jennifer Mnookin will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
