Angels announce 2021 Spring Training ticket information & procedures

ANAHEIM – The Angels today announced Spring Training information and updated procedures for home games at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

Tempe Diablo Stadium will adhere to local, state and Major League Baseball COVID-19 safety protocols. Tempe Diablo will operate at 25% capacity, allowing approximately 1,800-2,000 fans per game into the ballpark which typically holds 9,600. Tickets will be available in pods of two, four or six. Seating will be socially distanced and clearly marked. Appropriate face masks will be required for all fans over two years of age, except when actively eating and drinking in ticketed seating locations. A no-bag policy will be enforced to ensure fans can have a “no-touch” check-in process when entering the stadium.

Registered users at angels.com will have access to a ticket presale beginning Friday, Feb. 19 at 9:00 a.m. PST (10:00 a.m. MST). Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 9:00 a.m. PST (10:00 a.m. MST). All Spring Training tickets will be sold exclusively online at angels.com.

The first pitchers and catchers workout is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and the first full squad workout is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 22. Practice fields at the Tempe Diablo minor league complex will not be open to the public.

The Angels will open Cactus League play on the road on Sunday, Feb. 28 against the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium. The Home Opener in Tempe will take place on Monday, March 1 vs. the Chicago White Sox at 1:10 p.m. PST (12:10 p.m. MST). A total of 13 home games are scheduled for Tempe Diablo Stadium before the Halos return to Southern California to host the Los Angeles Dodgers for a Freeway Series exhibition home game at Angel Stadium on Sunday, March 28. Spring Training exhibition play will conclude with a pair of games at Dodger Stadium (March 29-30), before the Angels begin the 2021 regular season on April 1 against the Chicago White Sox at Angel Stadium.
