ANAHEIM – The Angels today announced the new Spring Training schedule for the 2022 season. The Club will open Cactus League play on March 18th against the Oakland Athletics at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa. The home opener will take place on March 19th against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The Angels will play a total of 18 games throughout the duration of Spring Training (15 Cactus League games in Arizona and three Freeway Series games in Southern California).

The Angels new 2022 Cactus League schedule features seven home games in Tempe and eight road games in Arizona. Following the 15 game schedule in Arizona, the Angels will return to Southern California and open the annual exhibition Freeway Series on April 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Angel Stadium. The Spring schedule will conclude with a pair of games at Dodger Stadium (April 4-5).
