November 4th, 2022

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – The Arizona Fall League (AFL) today announced the rosters for the 16th Fall Stars Game, which will be played at 2:00 p.m. MT (4:00 p.m. ET) on Sunday, November 6th at Sloan Park. A combination of scouting and farm directors, AFL staff, and MLB Pipeline (via MLB.com) writers selected the players for the annual showcase of baseball’s future stars from their respective American and National League organizations. The Fall Stars Game will air LIVE on MLB Network and stream LIVE on MLB.com with Robert Flores (play-by-play), Dan O’Dowd (analyst) and Jim Callis (analyst) on the call. If there is a Game Seven of the World Series presented by Capital One, the game will not be broadcast on MLB Network and will instead only stream on MLB.com.

Throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for Sunday’s Fall Stars Game will be Arizona Fall League alumnus (Scottsdale, 2009 & 2011) and two-time World Series Champion Brandon Crawford.

The American and National League rosters are made up of players from the Mesa Solar Sox (OAK, TB, CHC, MIA, NYY), Salt River Rafters (DET, ARI, TOR, COL, STL), Scottsdale Scorpions (SF, LAA, BAL, BOS, ATL), Glendale Desert Dogs (CIN, MIL, MIN, LAD, CWS), Peoria Javelinas (CLE, SEA, SD, WSH, NYM) and Surprise Saguaros (PHI, HOU, TEX, KC, PIT).

Managers Mickey Storey (Houston Astros organization–American) of Surprise and Reid Brignac (New York Mets organization–National) of Peoria, along with their respective coaching staffs, will manage the game since their AFL teams finished the first half of the season with the best records in their respective leagues.

Fans can select one additional player for each Fall Stars team via “The Fall Stars Final 2 Vote” that runs through Friday, November 4th at 12:00 p.m. ET. The ballot can be found on the Arizona Fall League website — MLB.com.
