HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Astros have officially signed 19 members of their 2023 MLB Draft class, along with three non-drafted free agents. The highest draft pick to sign today was second-round selection RHP Alonzo Tredwell out of UCLA. The announcement was made by Astros Director of Amateur Scouting Kris Gross.
The Astros made a total of 20 selections in the three-day 2023 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, which ended on July 11.
The deadline for teams to sign their draft picks is July 25.
