Astros to host FanFest at Minute Maid Park tomorrow

Club to announce 2023 Hall of Fame class at 1:40 p.m.

HOUSTON - Astros FanFest presented by H-E-B, will be held tomorrow at Minute Maid Park from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event will feature activities for all ages including autograph sessions, photo opportunities with select players and the World Series trophy, games and much more. Fans can purchase their Astros FanFest Vouchers for $1 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Astros Foundation. For more information, visit Astros.com/FanFest.

Astros Manager Dusty Baker will be at FanFest tomorrow along with six members of his coaching staff: Joe Espada (bench coach), Josh Miller (pitching coach), Bill Murphy (pitching coach), Alex Cintrón (hitting coach), Jason Kanzler (assistant hitting coach), Gary Pettis (third base coach) and Dan Firova (quality assurance coach).

The Astros will have 17 players at FanFest, including offseason signee 1B José Abreu. He’ll be joined by fellow All-Stars 2B Jose Altuve, OF Yordan Alvarez, 3B Alex Bregman, RHP Lance McCullers Jr. and RHP Ryan Pressly. Postseason standout performers SS Jeremy Peña and RHP Bryan Abreu and the club’s top prospect RHP Hunter Brown will also be at Minute Maid Park tomorrow. The player group also includes IF David Hensley, C Korey Lee, RHP Seth Martinez, IF/OF J.J. Matijevic, LHP Parker Mushinski, IF Joe Perez, LHP Blake Taylor and RHP José Urquidy.

Additionally, the Astros will announce their 2023 Astros Hall of Fame class at 1:40 p.m. in a ceremony on the field in front of sections 106-107. Media and fans are invited to attend the announcement, which will include media availability. Media can view the announcement from the field.

Several Astros alumni will be in attendance at FanFest, including Astros Hall of Famers Jeff Bagwell, Terry Puhl and Shane Reynolds, as well as Eric Anthony, Brandon Backe, Brian Bogusevic and Jason Castro.
