The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with RHP A.J. Cole on a Minor League contract with an invite to 2021 Major League Spring Training.

Cole, 29, went 3-0 with a 3.09 ERA in 24 games for the Blue Jays last season. The 6-5, 240 lb. right-handed reliever struck out 20 batters over 23.1 frames and yielded a 1.20 WHIP as he held opponents to a .226 batting average. Through six Major League seasons, the native of Winter Springs, FL, has gone 14-10 with a 4.65 ERA while recording 201 strikeouts across 197.1 innings of work.
