Blue Jays unveil 2024 Promotions & Events schedule

With the 2024 season getting underway later this month, the Toronto Blue Jays today announce the 2024 Promotions & Events Schedule, featuring a record 63 unique giveaways, theme days, and special events. This season features brand-new player bobbleheads; classic replica jerseys and unconventional player items; exciting new and returning theme nights – and days – with Work From Dome; and specialty tickets with a guaranteed item.

The fun begins on Monday, April 8 when the Blue Jays return to Rogers Centre for the 2024 Home Opener presented by TD – and continues through to the final game of the regular season.

Ballpark Theme Days

This season sees the return of classic Blue Jays theme days as well as an influx of exciting new events.

Paying homage to baseball’s bat and ball cousin, Cricket Night at the Park presented by TD returns for the second year on Friday, May 10, featuring a Blue Jays White Cricket Hat giveaway and a very special visit from the International Cricket Council Men’s T20 World Cup trophy. Join the Blue Jays to cheer on Team Canada as they prepare to compete in the T20 World Cup for the first time since 2007!

On Friday, May 17, Blue Jays fans are encouraged to saddle up for toe-tappin’ ballpark fun during the return of Country Night, which includes a Chris Bassitt ‘Hound on the Mound’ Bobblehead giveaway, featuring his two dogs, Ansley and Shea.

June brings the return of the annual Pride Night presented by TD (Friday, June 14), featuring a Blue Jays Rainbow Rope Corduroy Hat giveaway. Later in June, the Blue Jays host Rogers Centre’s first Salsa Night on Thursday, June 27, including a Blue Jays Chip & Dip Bowl giveaway.

With summer officially underway, spend the long weekend in the city for the annual Canada Day celebration on Monday, July 1, featuring a Blue Jays Canadian Tuxedo Hat giveaway. Back for the third year, Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival returns on Friday, July 26 in collaboration with Toronto Caribbean Carnival, including a Blue Jays Neon Hat giveaway in four unique colours.

Rounding out the summer fun, Harry Potter™ Night at the Ballpark returns for a second year on Friday, Aug. 9. All witches, wizards, and muggles will want to get to Rogers Centre early to get their wands on a Blue Jays Harry Potter™ House Raglan Shirt giveaway, in four distinct Hogwarts House colours.

The last weekend of the regular season is dedicated to the best fans in baseball. Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by TD (September 27 to 29) features activities for all ages and a Blue Jays FANnel giveaway on the Friday.

City Week

Celebrate Toronto during City Week from Friday, May 31 to Wednesday, June 5, including a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Bobblehead giveaway (June 3) and Blue Jays Backpack giveaway (June 5), with more exciting surprises and events to be announced.

Introducing Work From Dome

With a big lineup of weekday afternoon contests, fans are invited to Work From Dome during six games with 3:07 p.m. start times this season (April 10 & 17, May 1, July 25, and September 4 & 11). Play hooky with your friends, or secure group tickets to bring the office to the ballpark. Group purchases include the opportunity to add a Blue Jays-branded office item to complete the ultimate Work From Dome experience.

Fun for Blue Jays of All Ages

Jr. Jays Sundays are back for another exciting season of family fun starting on April 14 with Jr. Jays Opening Day. The Blue Jays are home on May 12 and June 16 for very special Jr. Jays Mother’s Day and Father’s Day programs around the ballpark. The first Jr. Jays outdoor program of the season is scheduled for June 16.

Before the final bell rings for the summer, bring the class to the ballpark for School Day on Thursday, June 6 (1:07 p.m. first pitch). Once school’s out, the annual Camp Day returns on Thursday, July 4, marking the perfect summer outing.

After consuming a record 693,865 dollar dogs in 2023, circle your calendars for 13 dog-tastic Loonie Dogs Nights presented by Schneiders. Visit Rogers Centre’s hot dog headquarters at Schneiders Porch as the Loonie Dog counter restarts on Tuesday, April 9!
