MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers earned three awards from The Sporting News with Matt Arnold being named MLB Executive of the Year, Pat Murphy National League Manager of the Year and Christian Yelich National League Comeback Player of the Year.

Arnold and Murphy, who also claimed their respective awards from the publication in 2024, led the Brewers to a franchise-record 97 wins and a third consecutive National League Central Division championship this season. At 97-65 (.599), Milwaukee posted the best record in the Major Leagues and qualified for the postseason for the seventh time in the last eight seasons.

Arnold is the first executive to claim the award in consecutive seasons since Cleveland’s John Hart in 1994 and 1995. Murphy is the first National League manager to repeat since Atlanta’s Brian Snitker in 2018 and 2019.

Yelich recovered from season-ending back surgery in August 2024 to bat .264 with 29 HR and 103 RBI in 150 games this season. It marked his third season with at least 25 HR (also 2018-19) and second with at least 100 RBI (also 2018).

Brice Turang was named to publication’s National League All-Star team at second base after batting .288 with 18 HR and 81 RBI in 156 games this season. He led the Major Leagues in runs (94) and RBI (81) as a second baseman.
