Cardinals-Reds game postponed due to weather

Tonight’s Game vs. Cincinnati Moved to Sunday as Part of Split Double Header

ST. LOUIS, Mo., August 30, 2019 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that tonight’s 7:15 PM game against the Cincinnati Reds has been postponed due to the forecasted severe weather conditions. The two teams will make up the postponed game on Sunday, September 1, as part of a day/night split double header. 

The originally scheduled game on Sunday will be moved up from 1:15 PM CT and begin at 12:05 PM CT. Gates for the game will open at 10:35 AM.

Tonight’s postponed game is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 6:05 PM CT. Fans holding tickets to tonight’s game should use those same tickets for admittance to Sunday’s 6:05 PM make-up game. Gates will open at 4:35 PM.

The Cardinals have announced that Dakota Hudson will start Game 1 of Saturday’s split double header, followed by Michael Wacha in Game 2. On Sunday, Miles Mikolas will take the mound for Game 1, with Daniel Ponce de Leon making the start for Game 2.

FOX Sports Midwest will televise each of the double headers on Saturday and Sunday, and all four games can be heard on the Cardinals Radio Network.
