The Colorado Rockies announced today that they recalled right-handed pitcher Antonio Santos from Triple-A Albuquerque, have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Jesus Tinoco as a replacement player and have reinstated right-hander Jhoulys Chacín from the COVID IL. Additionally, the Rockies have placed right-hander Chi Chi González within Major League Baseball’s COVID protocols and optioned right-handed pitcher Justin Lawrence to Albuquerque.
