D-backs reinstate Taijuan Walker from the 60-day IL; Transfer David Peralta to the 60-day IL

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Taijuan Walker (Tommy John surgery) from the 60-day injured list. To make room on the 40-man roster, the D-backs transferred OF David Peralta (right AC joint inflammation) to the 60-day injured list. The D-backs’ active roster is now at 36 and the 40-man roster remains at 40.

Walker, 27, will make his first start since April 14, 2018 @ Dodgers after undergoing Tommy John surgery on April 25, 2018.

Peralta, 32, hit .275 (105-for-382)/.343 OBP/.461 SLG with 29 doubles, 3 triples, 12 home runs, 57 RBI and 48 runs scored in 99 games for Arizona in 2019. He was placed on the 10-day injured list on August 24 and underwent surgery on August 30.
