WHAT: The top eight high-school all-stars teams have advanced to the final games of the 17th annual Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike, which will take place on Wednesday, June 22, at the team’s Urban Youth Academy Showcase Field at FDR Park. 

Games will take place from 8 a.m. until noon, with the championship match slated for 2 p.m. Note: start times for games were moved up an hour due to impending rain.

·     This 31-game tournament is recognized nationally as one of the best competitions for high school softball players and gives athletes the chance to play ball in front of college scouts. The event has also been a catalyst for many players to receive scholarships and admission to some of the country’s finest universities. 

·     The 2022 Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup began June 20. Click here for the current standings. Delaware South won the event in 2021.
