In honor of the late Hall of Famer, Willie McCovey, one volunteer from each league was selected to receive the award based on their dedication to their communities and exemplification of the Junior Giants mission. Additionally, Sol Rising will be playing live music throughout the event. KIDS RUN THE BASES - Presented by See's Candies: Kids 14 & under are invited to run the bases following Sunday’s game. Participants must exit the ballpark after the game and re-enter at the right field viewing portal from the Portwalk. After kids have finished running the bases, they will be directed out of the ballpark by event staff behind home plate.

CHASE CENTER OPENING & OVERLAPPING EVENTS: Chase Center officially opens September 6, but the venue will host several small, private soft-opening events over the next two weeks. One on Tuesday, August 27 will overlap with the Giants’ second game of the series against the Diamondbacks. While that night’s arena event is projected to be small enough that major transportation impacts are not expected, fans are encouraged to begin preparing for evenings during the last month of the baseball regular season on which both Oracle Park and Chase Center are slated to host major events. GIANT VAULT: An extraordinary museum of treasured and coveted artifacts related to Giants heritage is featured at Oracle Park. The exhibition currently on display for the 2019 season pays tribute to the ’89 World Series between the Oakland A’s and the San Francisco Giants. The Giant Vault is located inside the Lefty O’Doul Gate and is accessible to all fans inside the park.
