CHICAGO – Jake Owen, a chart-topping country music artist and songwriter, is scheduled to perform for fans at Guaranteed Rate Field following the Chicago White Sox game vs. Cleveland on Friday, July 28 at 6:10 p.m. CT.
On-field Postgame Concert passes are available beginning this Thursday, April 13 at 10 a.m. CT at whitesox.com/concert.
A multiplatinum entertainer, Owen’s songs have resonated with listeners and audiences everywhere. The Florida-born “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” singer has recorded his eighth studio album set to release in May with Big Loud Records and award-winning producer Joey Moi. Owen’s latest single, “Best Thing Since Backroads,” marked his 10th career #1 song on Country radio, joining the likes of his PLATINUM-certified hits “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” “Beachin,” “Anywhere With You,” “Alone With You” and “The One That Got Away.”
Field pass packages for the Postgame Concert are available to single-game ticket purchasers and White Sox season ticket holders. Space is limited, and ticket prices are subject to change. Season ticket holders will receive communication for a special offer to add field passes to tickets currently held for the Friday evening game.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the presenting sponsor of the White Sox Postgame Concert. All fans with a ticket to the game will have the opportunity to stay for Owen’s 60-minute set. Weather permitting, the Postgame Concert is scheduled to begin 30 minutes following the final out of the game.
Jake Owen joins a roster of acclaimed artists who have performed large-scale concerts at the ballpark since its opening in April 1991. Last season, the White Sox and presenting sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka welcomed Kaskade, a seven-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter, producer and remixer, for a postgame concert in mid-August. Other shows have included GRAMMY® Award-winners The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen in 2002 and 2003, respectively, with Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day Festival welcoming a record-setting crowd in September 2016.
