Major League Baseball today announced the entertainment lineup for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard. Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Oscar winning artist Jennifer Hudson and GRAMMY winner Patti LaBelle will bookend the pregame festivities on Tuesday, July 14th, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, delivering special musical performances. Acclaimed actor and Pennsylvania native Miles Teller, along with the legendary vocal group Boyz II Men, are slated to make high-profile appearances during the event's festivities.
Celebrating America's 250th anniversary, the Midsummer Classic’s pregame ceremony will highlight baseball's enduring place in our nation's history through music and storytelling, beginning with Jennifer Hudson’s performance of "America the Beautiful." Joined by the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps with orchestral accompaniment from the Philly Pops, Hudson’s rendition will serve as a musical celebration of freedom and unity, setting the stage for the night's festivities.
Following Hudson, Pennsylvania native and lifelong Phillies fan, Miles Teller will narrate a stirring tribute of baseball’s impact on American life. Patti LaBelle, Philadelphia-area native known as the "Godmother of Soul," will cap-off the pregame ceremonies with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem, accompanied by the Military District of Washington Joint Chorus and West Point Band. The live pregame ceremonies will be executive produced by Emmy Award winning company, Jesse Collins Entertainment (JCE).
Legendary Philadelphia vocal group Boyz II Men will perform during Major League Baseball’s Stand Up To Cancer placard moment, in conjunction with Mastercard, at the conclusion of the fifth inning. This will mark the 16th year for this deeply moving baseball tradition, which first debuted at the All-Star Game in 2011 in Phoenix. This powerful tribute will unite everyone inside Citizens Bank Park and watching at home in a shared moment of reflection and solidarity, inviting all to raise their placards and collectively honor loved ones who have been impacted by the disease.
"As we gather to celebrate America's 250th birthday, Philadelphia is the perfect stage to bring this milestone to life," said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB, Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships. "Our All-Star Game programming pairs global star power like Jennifer Hudson with incredible local flavor, featuring Pennsylvania’s own Miles Teller and homegrown icons Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men. This lineup captures the unique energy of the city while honoring how baseball has been a part of the American spirit for 250 years.”
