Major League Baseball today announced the launch of MLB Clubhouse, a new youth-focused content platform debuting on YouTube, designed to introduce baseball and softball to the next generation of fans through entertaining, accessible and kid-friendly programming.

MLB Clubhouse will feature original series spanning animation, player storytelling, highlights, educational and creative content that bring baseball and softball to young audiences in new and engaging ways. The programming is designed to meet kids where they already consume entertainment while helping them discover the excitement, creativity, and personalities within the game.

The platform will also launch with support from key collaborators across youth entertainment and digital media. Following the success of its 2025 partnership with ABCmouse®, the #1 most downloaded kids' education app, which generated more than 11 million views, MLB will bring both new and existing educational content from ABCmouse to the platform. Crayola will partner on the MLB Art Club series, co-posting each episode to inspire creativity through baseball-themed art.

In addition to weekly highlights and compilations for kids, the MLB Clubhouse lineup will include:

The Doug Out!: The Doug Out! is a premium, handcrafted stop-motion series that brings families inside the heart of Major League Baseball—where Doug, a small fan with big dreams, and his best friend Scout explore baseball through relatable stories that celebrate teams, spotlight superstars, and unlock the language of the game for a new generation of fans. Doug is voiced by Thom Nemer, and Scout is voiced by Fiona Ramirez. New episodes and content will roll out regularly on YouTube Kids beginning April 7 with an episode highlighting the Seattle Mariners and their star catcher Cal Raleigh.

MLB Art Club: In collaboration with Crayola and production partner Mango Moon Productions, MLB Art Club is a drawing show that blends sports facts and creativity. In each episode, Artist-Coaches and kids draw MLB mascots or iconic symbols from each Club, encouraging kids to draw along using original ideas so they, too, put imagination into action. Segments of baseball trivia, stories, and mini-games keep the energy high and the creativity flowing. Season one raises the bar for art tutorials, featuring 34 colorful episodes (one per Club + four specials to be announced, approximately eight to 10 minutes each).

No Easy Outs: Even for the biggest MLB and AUSL stars, the road to the show is never easy. No Easy Outs explores the doubts, struggles, and mental challenges that even the best ballplayers must overcome.

Let’s Play Ball: A YouTube extension of MLB's PLAY BALL initiative and MLB Network's PLAY BALL series, Let's Play Ball is the one stop shop for kids, parents, and coaches to learn Baseball and Softball drills, tips and tricks from MLB and AUSL's top stars.

“Baseball has always been a sport that brings families and communities together, and MLB Clubhouse is an exciting new way to introduce the game to young fans,” said Gregg Klayman, SVP, Product Development and Content Strategy at Major League Baseball. “By creating content specifically designed for kids on a platform where they are already watching, we hope to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of baseball.”

MLB Clubhouse was developed with an award-winning creative team with deep experience in youth entertainment to ensure the content resonates with younger audiences while celebrating the spirit of the game.

“The opportunity to bring baseball storytelling to kids through animation and creative content is a dream come true,” said Adam Reid, Emmy Award-winning creator of The Doug Out!, who was also involved in the creation of The Tiny Chef Show, a celebrated stop-motion series made for kids. “We wanted to create a world that captures the humor, imagination, and personalities of the game in a way that kids can immediately relate to.”

Baseball and softball combined remain the most-participated sport among children ages 6–12, yet not every child experiences the game through youth leagues. MLB Clubhouse offers a new way for kids to connect with the sport, whether they play on the field, watch with family, or are discovering baseball for the first time.
