Logo draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest in celebration of the Midsummer Classic coming to Seattle next summer

Tonight, prior to the Mariners opening game of the second-half, Major League Baseball and the team unveiled the 2023 MLB All-Star Game logo to a sold-out crowd. Inspiration for the logo came from iconic elements of the Pacific Northwest, representing the region of fans that cheer and support the Mariners and Major League Baseball.

“This logo is inspired by our fans, our community and our region,” Catie Griggs, Seattle Mariners President of Business Operations, said. “Now that we’ve unveiled the logo, the countdown is officially on! We can’t wait to host the next All-Star game in T-Mobile Park and show all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.”

Important design elements in the 2023 All-Star Game logo include Northwest Green woven throughout, the compass star pointing Northwest, and the shape of the logo representing the Pacific Northwest five-state region. The Space Needle is purposefully tucked within the trees and Mount Rainier to show how closely connected the city and the mountains are.

Next summer marks the third time in franchise history that the Mariners will host the Midsummer Classic, joining the 1979 contest at the Kingdome, when the National League claimed a 7-6 win, and the 2001 event at T-Mobile Park (then named Safeco Field), when the American League earned a 4-1 victory.
