KANSAS CITY, MO (October 3, 2019) – The Kansas City Royals announced that infielder Adalberto Mondesi underwent a successful left shoulder labral repair on Wednesday in a procedure performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Arlington, Texas.

Mondesi, 24, suffered the injury while diving for a ball in the first inning of Kansas City’s September 22 game in Minneapolis.
