Nominees announced for 2025 All-MLB Team presented by MGM Rewards

Major League Baseball today launched the ballot for the official All-MLB Team presented by MGM Rewards, which recognizes and commemorates the top performances by players during the 2025 regular season. The selections for the All-MLB Team, which was established in 2019, will be announced on November 13th during the MLB Awards presented by MGM Rewards from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas during the third annual MLB Awards Week presented by MGM Rewards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additional MLB awards to be unveiled in Las Vegas during the live All-MLB Show include the Hank Aaron Award winners, Comeback Players of the Year, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman Relievers of the Year, and Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter of the Year. Airing on MLB Network, perennial All-Star Mookie Betts will take the stage in front of a live audience to co-host the MLB Awards with renowned comedian, Emmy-nominated producer and baseball fanatic Roy Wood Jr. In addition to award winners and other current players, several former players are expected to be in attendance in Las Vegas.

Beginning today and continuing through Friday, October 10th at 12:00 p.m. (ET), fans may vote for their 2025 All-MLB choices at mlb.com/allmlb each day. In addition, the ballot will be available in Spanish at lasmayores.com/todomlb. Fans voting on MLB.com and a decorated panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials throughout the game will have equal say in determining the first-team and second-team choices who comprise the 2025 All-MLB Team. All fans who vote for the 2025 All-MLB Team can enter for a chance to win a trip to the MLB Awards to see the winners announced live.

Fans and panelists will vote for their choices at catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, three outfielders (without regard for left/center/right) and designated hitter, along with five starting pitchers and two relief pitchers on both the first and second teams. All choices will be based on the 2025 regular season, without regard for American League or National League affiliation. MLB Network will preview and analyze the nominees at each position with Adnan Virk, Mike Lowell and Chris Young on the 2025 All-MLB Team Nominee Show presented by MGM Rewards tonight at 7:00 p.m. (ET).

Among the 2025 nominees are 101 All-Stars, including 68 players who appeared on 2025 All-Star rosters; four rookies; 61 players age 27-or-younger, including 45 players age 26-or-younger, 30 players age 25-or-younger, 17 players age 24-or-younger, and 10 players age 23-or-younger; 52 internationally born players hailing from 10 countries and territories outside the 50 United States; 11 Most Valuable Player Award winners; three Cy Young Award winners; 14 Rookie of the Year Award winners; four Reliever of the Year Award winners; eight batting champions; and 46 previous All-MLB Team honorees, including 20 members of the 2024 All-MLB Team (13 first-team selections, seven second-team selections), nine two-time honorees, nine three-time honorees, three four-time honorees and two five-time honorees. Los Angeles Dodgers teammates Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts are the two players to have already been honored as a first-team or second-team selection on five occasions. Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and Juan Soto of the New York Mets are the players aiming for a fifth All-MLB selection. Judge has been selected in each of the last four seasons, including first-team honors in 2021, 2022 and 2024 with a second-team selection in 2023. Ohtani has also been selected to either team in each of the last four seasons after earning first-team honors as a designated hitter and second-team honors as a starting pitcher in 2021; first- team honors as a starting pitcher and second-team honors as a designated hitter in 2022; first-team honors in both categories in 2023; and first-team honors as a designated hitter in 2024.

All-MLB Team first-team honorees from 2024 featured on the 2025 ballot include the aforementioned Betts, Judge, Ohtani and Soto; catcher William Contreras of the Milwaukee Brewers; first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays; second baseman Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks; third baseman José Ramírez of the Cleveland Guardians; starting pitcher Chris Sale of the Atlanta Braves; starting pitcher Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates; starting pitcher Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers; starting pitcher Zack Wheeler of the Philadelphia Phillies; and shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals.
