OAKLAND, Calif. — The A’s 2023 promotional calendar is highlighted by 14 giveaway items, four fireworks nights, and two drone shows. Tickets for the A’s promotional days will go on sale during A’s Spirit Week (Jan. 23-27) and all single-game tickets will go on sale on Friday, Jan. 27.
The A’s open the 2023 season at the Coliseum on Thursday, March 30, versus the Los Angeles Angels. Fans in attendance will receive an A’s magnet schedule. Throughout the season, the Club will host fireworks nights on May 26, June 30, July 22, and Sept. 15, and drone shows on June 16 and Aug. 19.
A’s fans can update their Green and Gold closets with several A’s wearables this season. On Saturday, April 15, fans will receive a Jackie Robinson hat giveaway featuring the iconic “42” on the front. Fans can celebrate Mother’s Day with a belt bag giveaway (Sunday, May 14) and Father’s Day with an A’s Hawaiian shirt giveaway (Sunday, June 18). The A’s pit viper sunglasses giveaway on Sunday, July 2, will be perfect for the sunny summer days at the ballpark. On Sunday, Aug. 20, early arriving fans will snag a T-shirt hoodie. The A’s will cap off the season with an MLB Network hat giveaway on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The A’s will celebrate three heritage nights during the 2023 season, including Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Night on May 12, African American Heritage Night on July 14, and Latin & Hispanic Heritage Night on Sept. 16. Fans will receive custom-designed socks for each of those three heritage nights, in addition to Glenn Burke Pride Night on Sept. 1.
A’s fans can also add a Tony Kemp poster (Sunday, April 30), Marvel bobblehead (Saturday, July 15), and Retro Bobblehead (Sunday, July 23) to their collection this season.
Discounted tickets for the A’s promotional dates will be available during A’s Spirit Week, a week-long celebration (Jan. 23-27) that will include daily ticket deals, special giveaways on the A’s social media channels, community visits and donations, and a free fan happy hour event at Plank on Friday, Jan. 27. Single-game tickets for all 2023 regular season games will go on sale on Friday, Jan. 27.
