PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins and 555 Events today announced that Oliver Tree, the chart-topping voice of alternative rock hits “Hurt” and “Miss You,” has joined the inaugural TC Summer Fest lineup on Saturday, July 15 at Target Field. Oliver Tree is replacing AJR, who withdrew to spend time with their father amid his declining health.
Oliver Tree is joining Chelsea Cutler, Em Beihold and Talk on the Saturday lineup that will open for the GRAMMY® Award-winning and record-setting quartet Imagine Dragons. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and the show begins at 3:30 p.m.; tickets are on sale now via twins.com/TCSummerFest.
Oliver Tree, whose debut album Ugly is Beautiful reached the top of the U.S. alternative and rock charts, has previously played such major festivals as Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Austin City Limits. His second album, Cowboy Tears, also reached top-10 status, while his third effort, _Alone in a Crow_d, will be released later this year and already features the hit single “Miss You” with Robin Schulz.
