MIAMI – The Miami Marlins will have special guests on Wednesday, May 4, as Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez will trade in their racing gloves for baseball mitts as the two take the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Marlins’ 12:40 p.m. game vs. Arizona. With the support of Citrix, Innovation partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing, the Marlins will host both drivers for a special gameday experience.
v In 2021, Verstappen became the first Dutch driver to win the Formula 1 World Championship, and the 34th Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion.
v Verstappen won the recent Formula 1 race – the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola (Italy) on Sunday, April 24, with Pérez finishing in second.
v Pérez is a Mexican racing driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing who has claimed two podium finishes this season.
