With the Grapefruit League home opener just three days away, Phillies officials announced an exciting lineup of new fan features, foods and fashion that will be part of this year’s spring training at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Fla.

“There’s nothing like the Phillies spring training experience,” said John Timberlake, Phillies Director of Florida Operations. “This season, fans will be closer to the action like never before with the debut of our massive LED videoboard, the largest in all of spring training. From a new children’s playground to new foods and fashion exclusive to our ballpark, there are so many great additions as we celebrate the return of Grapefruit League play.”

The team’s spring training home opener takes place on Sunday, February 22, against the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:05 p.m. This will be the Phillies’ 80th spring training in Clearwater, Fla. and 22nd at BayCare Ballpark, with the final home game on Monday, March 23, against the Tampa Bay Rays – just three days before the start of the regular season.
