Pirates and Indians to play three exhibition games

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced they will play three exhibition games against the Cleveland Indians on July 18, 20 and 22, leading up to Opening Day of the 2020 regular season on Friday, July 24.  

 The Bucs will host the Tribe at PNC Park this Saturday, July 18, at 7:05 p.m. and again at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22. The Pirates will travel to Progressive Field in Cleveland to take on the Indians for the middle game of the three-game set on Monday, July 20 at 7:05 p.m.  

 All three games will be telecast on AT&T SportsNet, and can be heard on 93.7 The Fan and the Pirates Radio Network.  

 This will mark the first exhibition games played at PNC Park since March 31 and April 1, 2001, when the Pirates hosted the New York Mets leading up to the official opening of PNC Park on April 9, 2001.
