Pirates-Mets game postponed

Today’s game between the Pirates and New York Mets has been postponed due to inclement weather expected throughout the remainder of the day.

The Pirates and Mets will play a split doubleheader on Wednesday, September 7. The first game of the doubleheader will start at 12:35 p.m. while game two will begin at 6:35 p.m.

All tickets from today’s game are good for the 12:35 p.m. game on Wednesday or can be exchanged for any game in 2022 prior to the rescheduled 12:35 game on Wednesday. For more information, visit pirates.com/raincheck.

Today is the first game postponed at PNC Park this season. Wednesday will be the first doubleheader against the Mets here at PNC Park since June 7, 2016, and the second straight season the two teams will play a doubleheader (also July 10, 2021, at Citi Field). The Pirates will now play six doubleheaders in 2022, the team’s most since nine twinbills in 2004.
