Following these transactions, the Rangers still have 40 players on the club’s Major League roster, along with seven players on the 60-day injured list: LHP Jesse Biddle, RHP Luke Farrell, LHP Taylor Hearn, RHP Nate Jones, LHP Yohander Méndez, LHP Jeffrey Springs, and RHP Edinson Vólquez.

MÉNDEZ AND CARPENTER TO NASHVILLE: The injury rehabilitation assignment of left-handed pitcher Yohander Méndez has been transferred from Frisco to Nashville and Méndez will be available for tonight’s game at Oklahoma City. Méndez has combined to post no record and a 4.91 ERA (6 ER/11.0 IP) over 7 relief appearances with the Arizona League Rangers and Frisco during his rehab assignment. He has been on the 60-day injured list for the entire season with a left elbow UCL sprain.
