St. Petersburg, Fla. – The Texas Rangers today announced the club’s 2023 American League Wild Card Series roster for the best-of-three postseason series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Game 1 of the series is scheduled for 2:08 p.m. CT today, with the national television broadcast airing on ABC. Each of the three possible games in this series will be played at Tropicana Field from Tuesday through Thursday.
The Rangers are the fifth seed in the American League for this year’s postseason, as the winner of the Texas/Tampa Bay Wild Card Series will advance to face the league’s top seed Baltimore Orioles in the Division Series.
