ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—In advance of today’s roster deadline, the Rays made the following transactions:

-Optioned INF Daniel Robertson to the alternate training site;

-Assigned OF Randy Arozarena to the alternate training site and placed him on the injured list;

-Assigned LH Anthony Banda, 1B/3B Nate Lowe and LH/1B Brendan McKay to the alternate training site;

-Recalled INF/OF Mike Brosseau and RH Trevor Richards to the active roster;

-Selected RH Ryan Thompson to the major league roster

With these moves, the Rays roster is now set at 30 (+2 IL). The Rays Opening Day roster is below:
