Rays Postseason Need to Know Guide

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—The Tampa Bay Rays announce postseason fan information via the below Need to Know guide. The Rays encourage all fans to arrive early in order to avoid delays while entering the ballpark. All of the information outlined below can be found at RaysBaseball.com/NeedToKnow.

Mobile Ticketing

Please note, postseason tickets are mobile only. Fans can choose to scan tickets on their smartphone or access them through the free MLB Ballpark App. Please download the app prior to your visit to the ballpark. Paper tickets, including print-at-home and PDF versions, are not available or accepted.

Rays postseason tickets are available exclusively through raysbaseball.com and StubHub, the official fan to fan ticket marketplace of Major League Baseball. Tickets purchased from other sources and online sites are not guaranteed entry into Tropicana Field.

Cash-Free

In an effort to reduce wait times and get fans back to their seats faster, Tropicana Field is cash-free. Payments accepted at retail and concessions locations include all major credit cards, debit cards, Rays Season Ticket Holder Cards, Rays gift cards and contactless payments, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Gate Times

For potential ALDS and ALCS games, gates will open two and a half hours before first pitch, and three hours before any World Series games. To accommodate increased crowds, Gate 3 will be open for all postseason games.

Outfielder Bar & Grill Hours

The Outfielder Bar & Grill will open to fans four hours before first pitch for postseason games. In the event of a day game, the restaurant will open with gates.

Team Store Hours

Visit the Rays Team Store for your official postseason merchandise!

The Rays Republic Team Store at Tropicana Field will open on non-game days from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., seven days per week. Before postseason home games, the Rays Republic team store will open at 10 a.m. and close 30 minutes before gates open, then reopen again with gates. The Sundial Team Store at Sundial shopping center will also have postseason merchandise available. It is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m., and Sundays, 12 p.m.–8 p.m. For questions, please contact the Sundial Store at 727-222-2000.

Parking Lots

All Rays lots open four hours before first pitch for every game. Parking can be purchased on the day of the game with credit card, e-Cash or via Rays Card only. Cash will not be accepted. Pre-paid parking will not be sold for the postseason, so please be prepared to purchase upon arrival.

Lots 1 and 7 offer accessible parking closest to Tropicana Field’s gates, with the majority of these spaces in Lot 7. All accessible parking is van-accessible. Enter Lot 7 from 4th Avenue S. and Martin Luther King Jr. Street, and Lot 1 from 16th Street and 5th Avenue S. Accessible parking is subject to availability.

Security Procedures

Please be prepared to go through a security checkpoint prior to entering the stadium.

Backpacks are prohibited at Tropicana Field with the exception of those carried for medical reasons, and backpack diaper bags that accompany infants and young children. Any bag larger than 16" x 16" x 8" is restricted under MLB rules.

Split the Pot

For ALDS Game 3 on Monday, October 7, the Rays Baseball Foundation will have a guaranteed jackpot of $30,000 in the Split the Pot raffle. One lucky winner will walk away with half of the total. At the game, look for roaming ticket sellers or visit the stand on the Budweiser Porch or behind section 108.
