Red Sox announce revised Spring Training schedule; JetBlue Park Open to fans beginning tomorrow

BOSTON, MA – In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Red Sox today announced a revised, 19-game Spring Training schedule for the 2022 exhibition season, and the opening of JetBlue Park to fans beginning tomorrow, Saturday, March 12, at 9 a.m. Red Sox Spring Training is presented by CVS Health.

With regionalized matchups between teams to limit travel, the 2022 Red Sox exhibition season will feature matchups against the Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Tampa Bay Rays. The team’s first exhibition game takes place at JetBlue Park on Thursday, March 17, against their Lee County Chairman’s Cup rival, the Minnesota Twins. The Red Sox will close out the Spring Training season against the Twins at JetBlue Park on April 5. A full Spring Training schedule is attached. Game times will be announced at a later date.

Beginning tomorrow, Saturday, March 12, free access to the practice fields at the Fenway South Player Development Complex will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily through March 16. Fans are asked to arrive at JetBlue Park’s West Entrance where parking will be free. Ballpark tours will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Red Sox Team Store will also be open during operating hours.

The voluntary date for Major League players to report to Spring Training begins today. The mandatory report date is Sunday, March 13.

Over the next few days, the Red Sox will communicate ticket information for the new Spring Training schedule as well as information for ticket holders of previously scheduled matchups.
